The poll "What do you think of Darth Maul coming back to the clone wars?" has ended after almost two months with the following results:
Well, true that most people want to see Darth Shopping Maul come back, I was surprised with the number of people who don't want to see him.
And of course I can't blame them, he got cut in half, and then fell down a reactor shaft.
Emperor Palpatine did survive the Death Star II explosion, but only from a certain point of view. His spirit managed to detach and possess bodies of other people.
Due to imagery (like the one above) and various rumours, we know that Maul got a cybernetic lower half, so that means that his upper half had survived.
If Maul could survive like this, maybe several members of the Jedi order could too. Mace Windu got thrown off the top of the senate building (maybe like this shaft) and got electricuted with force lightning, and lost an arm, if some influential senator found him in time, he could still be alive.
Well, I'll guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens,
