Pic of the Week #3 - 24/12

Hello There!
Well, I remember I promised to release a ROTS cover this weekend, and well I just couldn't wait to do so.
I Believe this is my best so far, but I'll still keep trying.
  • The Planet in the background is a darkened Coruscant
  • And the Head above the three lightsabers it Palpatine's

LEGO Watch 21/12/11

One Brick to Rule them all...
One Brick to find them...
One Brick to build them all
And in the shop, buy them
Hello There!
And welcome to LEGO Watch, I believe the name stands for itself, whenever I hear something interesting (not city) I will report it. The series will cover mostly star wars sets, or big ones.
Anyways LEGO has recently announced that they will release a Lord of the Rings theme. The first sets are due to come out June next year.
Sets:
Note: Set numbers and names are official, and so is everything written in bold, but everything else in the list below is an educated guess by me.
  • 9469 Gandalf Arrives: Well, this looks to me like a battlepack-ish kind of set, simply judging by the number of minifigs (2: Frodo Baggins, Gandalf) and the title. As for which scene this could be referencing, I would guess Gandalf's arrival in the shire as, though Gandalf arrives several times to different places no other figures are mentioned pointing at another scene. If this is so, I would expect a wagon of some sorts with a horse and full of fireworks for Gandalf to ride.
  • 9470 Shelob attacks:
    • Minifigs included: Frodo Baggins, Gollum, Samwise
    • Well, there is no doubt as to the fact that this is the scene from LOTR Book IV The Ring Goes East/The Film: Return of the King where Gollum leads Frodo and Sam into the pass above Minas Morgul which is the lair of spiderman's mutated wife: Shelob.
    • Lego has created several creatures both brick-built (sea creatures like sharks and crabs from Aqua Raiders) and molded ones (like the Tauntauns and dinosaurs) so I have no doubt that the set will include a brick-buildable Shelob. As for what else could be included, maybe something like a wall or part of the cave where she dwells, knowing Lego, it won't be a full cave or even anything complex :-(
  • 9471 Uruk-hai army | Featuring four orks of the White hand (Uruk-Hai) and Two Rohirim - A “rider” and "Soldier" (Maybe they mean someone from the Westfold Vallies)…
    • Did I mention that these sets have the most pathetic names? Ah, no, well, I'm saying it now.
    • Anyways, this also looks like a battle pack, but, LEGO usually puts only 4 figs into a pack, and anyway the horseman MUST come with a horse otherwise he'd be a horseless man...
  • 9472 Attack on weathertop: Obvious enough, the scene where Frodo gets wounded with a Morgul blade. Minifigs: Aragorn, Samwise, Frodo, and two Nasgul I guess Lego can spare us ruins of a tower on a baseplate, who knows, maybe even a new hill design, oh and of course, we must get two black horses.
  • 9473 Mines of Moria: I bet this’ll have that room with two doors with Balin’s tomb which the group has to defend. If fact, it would be interesting how much they include, speaking of which, the minifigures are as follows: Boromir, Cave Troll, Frodo, Gimli, Goblins (2), Legolas Skeleton (2)
  • 9474 Battle of Helm's Deep: This is the one I'd be most excited for, because you can't do it without making a wall and fortress, and besides it'll have Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Theoden and five Uruk-Hai
  • 9476 The Orc forge: The pits of Isenguard most likely, ewwwh *disgusted face* not my favourite
Other Possibilities
Something I'd love to see would be Minas Tirith in Lego, or maybe an ultimate collector's Helm's Deep with full fortress, bridge & walls :-) but the chances of that happening are less then 3720 : 1
And this'll wrap up the LEGO Watch for Wednesday 21st Dec 2011.

Pic of the Week #2 - 17/12

Hello There,
What? Has it already been a week since the last pic? Wow, time flies fast, "point five past lightspeed" more like.
Well, here is my next picture:
Tadadada! Attack of the Clones
Slightly better then the Phantom Menace cover, and no clones, but at least it has the good guys and bad guys.

Oh, and the ROTS cover is something to look forward to.

Update on Naboo

I just watched the commentary with Dave Filoni about the Mon Cala Arc, and he said that we'll see Karkarodons (Riff Tamson's species (star wars sharks)) out of water and "running around quite happily" The commentary spoke about the second half of the season so I just put one and two together and thought that they'll apear in that CRISIS on NABOO (*sarcastic voice* oh and by the way, I'm cowering beneath my blankets for fear of what will happen on Naboo*/sarcastic voice*)
Thanks Everyone!

Pic of the Week

Recently I have discovered a talent with some image editing software, and now I would like to start sharing some of my creations.
First of all, I started with just making collages, and the first one I did was a rather basic cover for SW episode I: The Phantom Menace:

Yeah, It's basic, but that was what I was going for.
Check back Sunday next week for the Attack of the clones cover.
Thanks for viewing,

FutureLook: Clone Wars Season 4 Predictions 12 - 07

Well, this is my first post, and it was inspired by what I saw today.
Now Wookiepedia has stated that names of the remaining episodes of the fourth season of the clone wars are as follows, and here is what I predict will happen in those episodes.

414 - A Friend In Need - From the title and the fact that Filoni said that we'll see it in the middle of the season, I would assume that it would be the start to the Lux - Ahsoka arc, which if not for the mandalorians, would make me not want to watch it, there's enough romance in star wars as it is.
Basically, I think that the Jedi council or Ahsoka personally, will receive a transmission asking for help from Lux and then Tano would go.
415 - Deception: If we are to assume that this is the Luxsoka arc, then i think that this is the episode from which the mandalore trailor was taken, when ahsoka probably gets taken by the death watch.
416 - Friends and Enemies - I don't no, probably someone will betray someone and someone else will help ahsoka escape.
417 - The Box: I have no idea what the HELL this episode has in store, what a box of chocolates? Well i guess we'll have to wait and see.
418 - Crisis on Naboo: Has someone known Naboo when there wasn't something wrong there?  Why does everything has to happen on Naboo? Look, we've had the war starting on Naboo, the blue shadow virus, the gungans being gungans when Jar Jar had to save the day and now ... the CRISIS oh NOOOOOO! Let's hide under our blankets,
419 - Massacre: Feels like that's the arc were we see Darth Maul and Savage Opress together, from the title i would expect a moment like in the season three episode "monster" when Savage took his battle axe and went crazy on a group of clones and Jedi. Or maybe Assaj Ventress got pissed off, and attacked a separatist outpost in revenge for Dooku.
420 - Bounty: I'm not sure who had put up the bounty, and for whom, but maybe if my second prediction was right, then Grievous is going to go after ventress, hmm the 'hairless harpy' vs 'Mr Coffer'. Or, the Jedi are so desperate that they hire boba fett and dengar to capture Savage oppress. Which reminds me, someone in LFL said that we'll see Dengar in this season, a bounty hunter in the episode 'bounty' sounds fitting
421 - Brothers: Well there are only two people who they can be talking about, definitely Savage oppress and Darth Maul
422 - Revenge: Well, with two Sith, revenge is inevitable, especially if one got cut in half and abandoned by his master, and another was manipulated and rejected by two masters, there's one thing for sure SOME WILL DIE.
