I have a Bad Feeling about this...

Indeed I do, have a bad feeling about this. First of all, my online life has been rather miserable over the past twelve months. Only thing I've been able to keep up was my work on FanFiction and even that came at a struggle. However, I am not here to discuss my woes, 'coz that's just boring. No, I'am here because of my bad feeling regarding the Clone Wars and Season Five's finale.

My Clone Wars reports have been ... absent to put it lightly, and I have not put much of my predictions up. I guess with the climax of the Ahsoka-the-Fugitive arc coming up, I'll start once again.

Before I start rambling, I have some strategic evidence to provide.
First is the "Who Will Fall" poster from Wookieepedia, with added "dead" tags to illustrate my point. Hondo, we've seen him in three different arcs, and with only one episode left, he's not gonna die. Embo, I really did not get what the fuss was about with him, but he is not gonna end up dead either. Ventress, she only got bonked on the head, and unless Anakin guts her in this week's episode, she's gonna stay alive. Likewise, Rex has survived for the entire series, and I really don't see him kicking the bucket, not unless they want to frame Ahsoka even more. Darth Maul, well, Sidious tortured him real good, and he wants him alive for something, which by the way isn't this arc, I'll get to that later. So only person in doubt, is Ahsoka Tano.

From a marketing standpoint, killing her will severely drop popularity among many audiences, seeing as how she grew on many of us. To be honest, when first I saw her in 'Cloak Of Darkness' (S01E09), I was not impressed. I did not like her personallity, and a was revolted by her outfit. In season three however, her character underwent severe changes, and the she became more ... relatable. Having her die would not make me cry, like so many sissies who I don't understand would, but it will be a loss for the series. And I believe that a great many level-headed fans will share my opinion.

Also, killing her will be crude I guess is the word. In Season One she nearly died of the Blue Shadow virus. In Season Two nearly got burried alive on Geonosis and then froze half to death on the medical frogate. In the third season she literally died and got ressurected. In S4 her head nearly rolled at the hands of Vizsla, so what I am trying to get at is she has escaped death on so many occassions it will seem cheap for her to go out that way. As to her falling to the Dark Side, she already has, on Mortis, so that plot point is used up. That leaves exile, or ignamy in the Temple.

With the plot to convict Ahsoka in full swing, it will be hard for her to muster an effective defence, especially in bias courts. A good lawer, like say Eramuth Bwa'tu from the FotJ series could pull the prececution's case to shreds, but with the Jedi High Council believing in her guilt, and Palpatine's involvement, she is not likely to get out intact. At the very worst, she's gonna get the death sentence, and Tarkin will try for that. The Clone Wars was once a kid's show, but these days it has gotten markedly more violent, so I have no problem invisioning them putting her infront of a firing squad. I really don't think theyll use a KillTab though.

The only way she is getting killed, is if her Master is away, or if she is completely helpless. She knows she is innocent, so she is not going down for someone else's crime.
I can imagine her being exiled from the Order, like Jedi Exile the Second or something, which would explain her absence in Revenge of the Sith.

She can be sent to prison, where either she escapes, someone (Anakin) helps her escape, or she is killed by the inmates, thus cutting one of Skywalker's attachments. I would say, it's an ingenius plot by Sidious.

As to her assailent, it is not, I repeat NOT Darth Maul. I freeze-framed the episode personally, and I looked at the legs. They are quite remenesent of female legs. Also, in I think 'slide 23' of "To Catch a Jedi Episode Gallery" on starwars.com it says plainly, "she"
She uses the Force to throw debris at the Padawan, and nearly blinds her with a ruptured steam pipe.
Yep, it was slide 23. We know it is not Ventress, as Asajj is having hallusinations in the allyway so it is another, unnamed female character. I actually believe that his unnamed figure is none other than one Barriss Offee. Yes, I know, shocking, but you see, she was nervous on the commlink, and deliberatelly asked Ahsoka to contact her via untraceable meens. Rings any bells? Yes they are supposed to be friends, but so were Anakin and Obi-Wan, and we all know how that turned out.
My other theory is that the Clone Wars crew, or Dave Filoni, stumbled on some of the fanfictions about Ahsoka and Barriss, so feeling utterly disgusted, they made sure to destroy the problem at the core.

Whatever the case, the War is coming to an end, as evidenced by the presense of the buzz droids and the Eta-2 Actis-class light Interceptor (Jedi Episode III Starfighter) in "Sabotage". Loose ends need to be tied up, and various characters have to bite the bullet so to speak.
Anakin is getting darker and darker, look at his eyes in "The Jedi Who Knew Too Much" when he was refused entrance to Ahsoka's prison.

The best end for Ahsoka would be an exile, where she leaves alive, but on the off chance that she dies, I will not be all too sad, as in that case, people might stop writing rexsokas, luxsokas, anisokas, OCsokas and all that romance bantha poodoo.

Anyways, I am patiently awaiting the next episode, and will endavour to bring you a report that same day on what happened, and my thoughts on the matter.
In other news, check out my Picasa album with my fiction covers as well as the new look on my FF.N profile. Currently I have six hundred words to go with Young Jedi I: Beginner's Luck Chapter 8 and it will be posted within the week.

I am in the middle of reading Fate of the Jedi: Apocalypse so please expect a long rant and commentary on the series in the next fortnight. Back to fiction, I have several one-shots in the works, and I will be much abliged if you could go to either this poll, or the one on my FF.N profile and vote on what I should concentrate more.

With no further smart things to say, I'm signing off,

Skyfighter Complete

Finally I'm back from whereever my blogger side has gone, and this post is about a story of mine, Skyfighter: The Ones.

It has been eleven months, an unjustifyable period of time for something only thirty thousand words long, however I'm going to use the excuse that, I have a life, and I have other stories. I love that excuse, works every time.

If you want to read the story, just click on the "FanFiction" tab above this post, and select the appropriate story from the list.

I am currently working on an enhancement, but I don't know when it will be available.
There will also be a sort-of sequel, but it will take time, and my current priority is "Young Jedi".

Just for whoever views this page, here is the front cover and an extended summary:

Front Cover

Back Cover

Summary:

Prophecies are strange things, just as the Force from which they are derived. Who knows whether an ancient record states “The Chosen One” or “Ones”? Seers are Jedi. Jedi are people. People make mistakes. Who is to say that what has been passed down generation after generation for millennia is unchanged? Who is to say it isn’t?
Such realms of possibility give rise to novellas like this one. Tales in which we know the past, but where the future hasn’t been written yet, where it can change on a click of a button, or a whim of an amateur author.
In this particular story, the Clone Wars have been raging for a year and a half. In this story, a new player steps onto the dejarick board. But is he of aid or of hindrance? Is he a boon or a bane? Will he lead the light to glory? Or will there be darkness again?

Well, I guess that's it,

The Blog is with me, but I am not a Blogger Yet...

Hello There!
Well, this's taken me for ever... a busy life and overly active imagination are not a good mix when you have several web resources.

In this post I wish to get up to date with several happenings:
- Stories - Pic of the Week - Blog Rearangement - YouTube- and whatever else I think of by the end of this post :D

Stories

First I wish to introduce my new story: Young Jedi, Book I: Beginner's Luck.

Official summery from FF.N:

"The Force is at work. Two Earthlings are about to discover that being Jedi isn't all about levitating rocks and free soda while unwittingly or otherwise causing a headache for Palpatine. People will die. Anakin will cry. And the galaxy will be saved, again...."

Profile on Nikitikin:

Life isn't perfect, and heroes don't usually come from the upper class. Nikitikin knows this, and desparately wishes he could be a hero some day. Due to certain 'circumstances' at his high school and his vision impairment he is unable to participate in the modern-day activities of his peers. He spends the long days listening to various texts read to him through a derelicded text-to-speech device and aimlessly wandering the yard. Because of his condition, or maybe thanks to it, he is aware of more things than the average person his age. He is capable of pulling out of memory the blueprints to anything he has studied long enough, even fictional ones, a Star Destroyer per say. He has an above-average grasp of manipulating words and negotiation, unsurprising considering he has to deal with unreasonable rules and people every day. Over the years Nik has obtained several nicknames, no-doubt reflecting - though not always positively - on his quirks and characteristics. Some of the more widespread ones include: 'the negotiator', 'living Google'/'talking encyclopedia', 'cyclops', 'Strider' and even 'Jedi kid' (the latter probably due to the fact he hangs his mobility cane on his belt, which to some people resembles a lightsaber).

Nikitikin has very few friends - for reasons best known to himself - but those he has, won't leave him for anything.

Lately Nik has been studying various forms of combat, allowing him to defend against thugs, who would often underestimate him due to Nikitikin only using his mobility cane.

Extended Summary

Nikitikin has often wondered in what way best to exact his revenge on those who have wronged him. In the end he has concluded that he has to become a Jedi and then turn Sith. There is only one problem with that though; there is no mystical energy field for him to use to lift tables and snap necks.      --Or so he thinks.
A harmless fan-film stunt causes Nik and Aeren to drop out of no-where and help Anakin save Obi-wan for the first time. Years pass and Nik realises that snapping obnauxious necks is the least of his worries, getting back home for one thing is more important.

As in all stories the bad guys have to lose, the only unknowns are who, how and when.

Production Notes

  • Well, the front cover you see above was done totally by me, yea total surprise I know. \;=}
  • This story is either going to be a duology or a trilogy, don't know yet.
  • This volume is a first-person perspective by Nikitikin
  • Please note: Though I have designed Nikitikin similar to me in character and some circumstances, a lot of what I write I spice up for the story. So no I am not called a Jedi Kid, but I get called  the Negotiator at times, and I have been known to use my cane in similar ways to Master Yoda's gimer stick

The Reckless Venture

Hello Everyone!
For those of you who read the first chapter of my story, this is the model of the ship "Reckless Venture"

As mentioned, this ship is a cross between a Corellian Engineering Corporation YT-1300 freighter and a CEC CR90 Corvette.
This ship has four turreted quad laser batteries, and four dual laser cannons mounted on the rear. There are also two ordnance launchers mounted on the top of the ship.
For boarding, there is a ramp, and a lift plate.
This ship has a class 0.6 hyperdrive and advanced stealth gear.
When chapter two comes up, it will explain how Adven got hold of it.
Thanks for reading both the blog and story (in case you missed it: it's here )
And Remember, the Force and Commander Nikitikin will be with you always, (As long as you read the blog that is...)

FutureLook: 417 The Box

Hello There!
And welcome back to the FutureLook!
Lets discuss The Box shall we?
What We Know
  • We have seen two trailers:
    • The first one shows 11 bounty hunters assembled somewhere on Sereno. Count Dooku introduces everyone to each other and then shows them the Box.
    • The Second trailer shows Anakin talking to Yoda. Yoda regrets not telling Skywalker about the 'death' of OB1
  • The slides also show some interior aspects the box
What I expect
  • With the actual Box, I expect something like what we saw in the season three episode "Monster" when Asajj Ventress put Savage Opress through his paces.
  • The Box isn't too big, and the concept slides don't show any build-in contraptions, so I think that we are gonna see some kind of one-against-all fight.
  • People certain to survive:
    • Obi-wan - He's in ep3+
    • Anakin ep3+
    • Ahsoka - season 5+
    • Cad Bane - "we will see him working with Boba"
    • Eval
    • Dooku
  • People who will probably survive
    • Embo,
      • Too cool to die
      • Quote from Dooku "Embo, your bounty tallies were second only to one last season" (Note: season means bounty season, or sw year, not tcw season)
    • One of the Ithorian brothers - Film logic
    • probably 2 more bounty hunters
Possible Plot
Anakin gets back to coruscant, Yoda tells him about the deception, anakin tells ahsoka, and rushes off.
Dooku introduces everyone to each other, and chucks them in the Box. Some kind of gladiator style fight ensues.
Anakin catchs up with Obi-wan, and OB1 has to send him away somehow.

I don't think that we will hear about the plot before the last episode, as it wouldn't be that kind of a crisis to us viewers.
Thanks for reading, and please post your ideas/responses in the comments,
And Remember, the Force, and CommanderNikitikin Will be with you, always. (As long as you read the blog that is...)

Launching my account on FanFiction.Net

Hello there readers!
I would like to mention that I have created an account on fanfiction.net!
To start things off, here's a link to my first story "Secrets of Mortis" please be sure to read it, and to give me some feedback.
Summary: How many 'one's were chosen? What if Anakin wasn't the only 'one'?
Anakin Skywalker gets a second Padawan -- Adven-Turus Skyfighter -- together with Ahsoka and Obi-wan, the four Jedi share various adventures including a return to Mortis.
What will happen on the Force Planet? What will the group learn?
Notes:
  • Adven-Turus Skyfighter is my own creation
  • A model of "Reckless Venture" the ship belonging to Adven will be made for the 3D warehouse
  • The title of the story is a working title, I may change it later.
Thanks for reading the blog, this post, and the story.
And remember, The Force, and Commander Nikitikin Will be with you, Always (As long as you read the blog that is....)
